Arrow-Shield Water Repellent Spray For Fletching

Product Description Our original formula was developed for maximum water repellency. Becomes odor free after 24 hours. Comes in a convenient 4 ounce pump spray bottle. A fine mist sprayer helps the application and no aerosol propellant to run out. After consulting with many experienced bowhunters, some wanted a less "chemical" smell to our product. Unfortunately the active ingredients do have a slight odor that does dissipate after time. As a solution we offer Arrow-Shield in a variety of scents: Earth Cedar Sage These are not intended to be an overpowering cover scent, but dry with just a hint of the odor. Perfect to rejuvenate fletching after a series of harsh exposure to the elements and time is at a premium. ***Note: Not recommended for fletch tape applications at this time Application Instructions Many different applications have been tried and thru testing this method has had the best results. However feel free to experiment on different application techniques. Spray feathers lightly; work spray into feathers (with grain) with fingers or swab. Allow to dry and repeat Depending on amount of spray 2 or 3 coats may be necessary. For best results allow 24 hrs until harsh weather exposure, however in emergency as long as it's dry its good to go. Over spray is slick. Avoid getting on floors. Denatured alcohol will aid in wiping off excess from shafts. If feather become tacky and clump this is a sign of too much spray being applied. If you touch the feathers you will remove the protective coating. After prolonged exposure to rain and the elements you will need to re-apply with light coats.
